South on Route 355 to Veirs Mill Road. Left on Veirs Mill Road. South on
Veirs Mill Rd., past Twinbrook Parkway to Aspen Hill Road stoplight. Turn
left onto Aspen Hill Road. Go up hill past light at Arctic Ave. to library
on the left.
North (Olney area)
South on Georgia Ave. Bear right on Connecticut Avenue. Right onto Aspen
Hill Road. Library is 2 1/2 blocks on the right, just past the stoplight
at Parkland Drive and Aspen Hill Road.
South (Wheaton area)
North on Georgia Avenue, about 4 1/2 miles to Aspen Hill Road. Turn left onto
Aspen Hill Road. Go through lights at Connecticut Avenue and Parkland. Library
is on right in next block.
South (Kensington area)
North up Connecticut Avenue to Aspen Hill Road. Turn left onto Aspen Hill Road.
Library is about 2 1/2 blocks on right, just past stoplight at Parkland Drive
and Aspen Hill Road.
East (Bel Pre area)
West on Bel Pre Rd. Left on Georgia Ave. Proceed South on Georgia Ave. Bear
right on Connecticut Avenue. Right onto Aspen Hill Road. Library is 2 1/2
blocks on the right, just past the stoplight at Parkland Drive and Aspen
Hill Road.
West (Rockville/Twinbrook area)
South down Veirs Mill Rd., past Twinbrook Parkway to Aspen Hill Road stoplight.
Turn left onto Aspen Hill Road. Go up hill past light at Arctic Ave., to
library on the left. The library is just before light at Parkland and Aspen
Hill Road (about 1 mile.)
About the Library: Aspen Hill Library was designed by John H. Sullivan of Rockville, MD and built in 1967. The building reflects the architectural design then typical of modular wings that are joined by a central core. Aspen Hill has a Children’s Room and large Adult area on the main level with a Community Room on the lower level.
