Rd. toward the Beltway, 4 1/2 blocks. Library is on the right.

North (Wheaton area)
South on Georgia Avenue under the Beltway and continue to Spring Street. Turn
left onto Spring St. and follow it around to Colesville Rd. Turn left onto
Colesville Rd. to 8901 on the right hand side. Turn right into driveway and
proceed past library on your left to parking in the rear of the building.
North (Rockville area)
Take I-270 to I-495(Beltway) East. Take Exit I-495 at Exit 31 (Georgia Ave South).Proceed south
on Georgia Avenue under the Beltway and continue to Spring Street. Turn left
onto Spring St. and follow it around to Colesville Rd. Turn left onto Colesville
Rd. to 8901 on the right hand side. Turn right into driveway and proceed
past library on your left to parking in the rear of the building.
South (District of Columbia)
North on Georgia to Colesville. Turn right at Colesville, cross Fenton and
Spring Streets to 8901 on the right hand side. Alternately, go north on 16th
Street to the District line. Turn right at Colesville Road, drive under the
Metro tracks, cross Georgia Avenue, Fenton and Spring Streets to 8901 on
the right hand side. Turn right past library on left to parking lot behind
library.
East (Prince George's County)
Proceed West on 495 to Exit 30, Colesville Road to Silver Spring. Drive past
Sligo Creek Parkway and Dale Drive. Continue onto several blocks to 8901 on
the left-hand side of Colesvile Rd. just before the signal at Spring Street.
Turn left into driveway on far side of the library to parking in the rear
of the building.

About the Library: The Silver Spring Library opened in the current building in 1957. It is approximately 13,600 square feet, with the meeting room and Mobile Services Office on the lower level and the Children’s, Adult, Young Adult, Reference, Circulation and Information desks on the upper level.
