Business Plans Handbook Series - Contains templates and 25 sample plans for manfacturing, service, and retail businesses as well as other useful links for entreprenteurs and consultants. Click on the "eTable of Contents" link for each one to see the specific type of businesses included in that volume. Among the hundreds of sample plans there are, for example, some for a car wash, day care center, internet services portal, homeless shelter, and online mortgage services.

Career Insider - Industry, and company profiles, plus job hunting advice and an internship database. Vault publishes well-regarded career books, and Career Insider provides them as e-books.  This site also has social features and advice about colleges.  You must create a user name and password to use Career Insider.

SRDS Media Solutions - In-Library Access Only. A business resource for advertising rates and contact data for consumer media.

Standard and Poor's NetAdvantage - Investment reports on stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, plus company profiles and the S&P Outlook. With a new Financial Literacy section.

Value Line - Information and investment advice on stocks, industries, mutual funds, options, and convertibles.  Allows screening by various criteria to create prospect lists.
