Montgomery County’s Office of Community Partnerships in the Office of the County Executive and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Committee announce the second and final talent call for individuals and groups interested in performing in this year’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration.

Auditions will take place on Saturday, November 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Executive Office Building Lobby Level Auditorium, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville. Individuals and groups auditioning should be prepared to perform a three-to-five minute selection that represents Dr. King’s dream. Anyone wishing to audition but unable to attend may submit a CD or DVD. Submissions will be accepted until Monday, November 16 and can be sent to the Office of Community Partnerships, Attn: Tim Warner, 255 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20850.

Those selected will perform at the County’s celebration on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Music Center at Strathmore, located at 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda.
