Montgomery County Council President Isiah Leggett (D-At-Large) will introduce legislation on Tuesday to ban all smoking in all Montgomery County restaurants and their bar areas. The measure would be among the toughest anti-smoking measures in the nation and would protect restaurant customers and employees from the ill effects of second-hand smoke.
He will be joined at a Tuesday news conference in Rockville by Councilmembers Phil Andrews (D-Rockville) and Blair Ewing (D-At-Large), who are co-sponsoring the legislation.
