BLACK HISTORY MONTH: Council Community Spotlight on Tobytown and Lincoln Park

On February 14, 2017, the Council recognized Black History Month with a Community Spotlights on Tobytown and Lincoln Park. Ms. Phyllis Shaw represented Tobytown and Ms. Anita Neal Powell represented Lincoln Park. These women shared their personal stories and the histories of their communities to help educate the public and policy makers about the work that is still left to do.
