Glenmont Forest Green Streets

As a part of the county's effort to protect our waters, the neighborhood surrounding Judson Road was selected for a Green Street project to help reduce stormwater pollution that drains into our streams. Green Streets projects generally involve installing small-scale stormwater practices within the county's right-of-way to capture water from roadways and sidewalks during storms.

Residents within the Glenmont Forest project area can also help reduce stormwater pollution by installing stormwater practices on their property through the county's RainScapes Neighborhood Program.

Various public events will be held throughout the project phases for residents to learn about the project and to provide input on the design of the project. Go to the 'Project Schedule and Documents" tab for more information!
