Notices

Current Phase: Construction

Construction and refresh activities within the library continue as the various crews work towards the completion of tasks. The carpeting throughout the library is completed. The public access bathrooms have been redesigned to comply with ADA requirements and add to the “refreshed” look that the entire physical space inside of the building is beginning to reflect. Partial library staff returned in May 2017 to ready the library for reopening. Lighting fixtures are being changed to high efficiency LED fixtures and final touch up items are being completed. The projected reopening of the Aspen Hill Library is July 15, 2017. The County apologizes for the inconvenience and will reopen the library as soon as possible.

The Aspen Hill branch recieved new carpet, paint, totally renovated bathrooms, a re-organization of the children’s area with new furniture and exciting colors, a user friendly re-arrangement of some of the collection, new comfortable seating, many more areas of powered seating, improved Wi-Fi accessibility, a digital display screen, and much more!
