  • New Tenant Rights Available!

    New tenant protections took effect on 03/13. In this update, DHCA presents the translation of major resources including the Landlord-Tenant Handbook, Code Enforcement Handbook, Standard Multi-Family Lease, & Lease Summary. Soon, DHCA will be making available and translating summary Code Enforcement & Landlord-Tenant pamphlets.

  • 2017 Rental Housing Survey Starts April 1-30

    April 1st launches the Montgomery County 2017 Rental Housing Survey conducted by DHCA Licensing and Registration. All multifamily rental properties in unincorporated areas as well as the municipalities of Gaithersburg, Rockville and Takoma Park report information on tenant services, unit sizes, rent levels, and occupancy.

  • Announcing the Launch of DHCA’s New Tenant Rights Website

    New tenant protections that take effect on March 13th, and DHCA is leveraging its additional authority and resources to ratchet up efforts to inform and protect tenants.
