Alttman's Deli

Each year for the past five years the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has taken on a location in need of some roadside cleaning and had a good time sprucing it up and then celebrating efforts at a nearby deli. This year our business partner was the Attman's Deli, a very popular local business with two locations, one in Cabin John and one in Baltimore.

Twenty two volunteers met at 9:00am Saturday, October 26th at the Attman's Delicatessen in the Cabin John shopping center to enjoy a free cup of coffee before heading out to clean litter along Tuckerman Lane, Seven Locks Road and numerous surrounding neighborhood streets.  They wrapped up the cleaning by meeting back at the deli at 10:45am for a delicious lunch!

MCDOT employees, their spouses and children, and members of the community collected 21 bags of trash, two tires, and assorted items in two hours of cleaning
