Child Welfare Services Program

Child Welfare Services works to protect children and preserve families through services such as screening and assessment, community education, family preservation, continuing protective services, foster care, kinship care, adoption, and foster and adoptive parent services.  To report suspected child abuse or neglect, call the 24-hour reporting hotline at 240-777-4417.  For general information, call 240-777-3500.
