Welcome Back Center of Suburban Maryland

The Welcome Back Center of Suburban Maryland is an innovative model that builds on the personal and professional assets of individuals who had already obtained a degree in a health-related profession (nurses, physicians, psychologist, and others) outside the United States and are currently living or working in Maryland. The Center services contribute to: further address health professional shortages; diversify the health workforce; provide economic opportunities to underutilized individuals as they return to work in the health field; and enhance health outcomes of the entire community.
The Center provides a comprehensive, integrated, and coordinated approach to effectively address the needs and lessen the challenges and barriers internationally educated health professionals encounter in obtaining their licenses and certifications to reenter the health workforce in Maryland.
