BACKGROUND CHECK

Fire and EMS personnel are some of the most trusted people in the community. They are allowed in homes
and business's as well as given access to information which requires the highest levels of character and
integrity. Therefore it is critical for MCFRS candidates to go through an extensive background check to ensure

C.P.A.T.

The Candidate Physical Ability Test is a vigorous exam to assess the physical ability of applicants. This test was
developed to ensure candidates are physically able to perform essential job tasks at fire and ems scenes. There
