One of the most respected and widely used career planning instruments in the world, the Strong Interest Inventory is recommended for anyone making decisions about occupational choices, career direction, and job satisfaction.
This basic career assessment tool will provide you with a personal profile of your vocational interests and characteristics, plus occupations which seem best suited to you and will identify your optimum career choices based on your interests.
Two sessions:
- 1st session - test
- 2nd session - group interpretation of test results
This workshop is offered every month.
Presenter(s)
Roberta Penn Buckberg, M.A. is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a Master's Degree in Communication Arts and Theatre with a concentration in Cinema Studies. She has been qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Strong Interest Inventory since 2000, and has been the Coordinator of the Career/Transfer Center at Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus for nearly 15 years. Currently she is completing her credential as a Global Career Development Facilitator and working on attaining certification by the Professional Association of Resume Writers. As a lifelong career-explorer herself, she enjoys working with individuals on using tools to help discover, examine, and evaluate options!
