Emergency Solutions Grant – Additional Funding
Montgomery County has received notification of an additional $126,775 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for county fiscal year 2012 (FFY 2011). ESG funds enable the County to provide housing related services to persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. These additional funds are proposed to be used for 1) Rapid Re-Housing and 2) Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). The ESG program is one component of the County’s Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development. MPDU Maximum Income Limits for 2012
The 2012 MPDU  Income Limits for both rental and sales housing have been published on the MPDU website. 
 
2012 Rent and Income Limits Update

Montgomery County, MD’s Rent and Income Limits for local, state and federal programs have just been updated.  Area Medium Income (AMI) is now $107,500 for a family of four.   Rent and Income limits for 30% AMI, 50% AMI (Very Low), 60% AMI and 80% AMI are outlined by family and unit size (effective 12/1/11).  HUD Federal limits for the HOME Program’s Low and High Rent (effective 2/9/12) as well as HOME’s Per Unit Subsidy Limits for Elevator and Non-Elevator properties (effective 1/1/12) are listed.  In addition, the chart shows the Fair Market Rents by unit size (effective 10/1/11) and the income limits for the Weatherization Program (200% of Poverty).
