The Water Quality Protection Charge (WQPC) appears as a line item on your tax bill. The Charge pays for structural maintenance of residential and associated non-residential stormwater facilities, and water quality improvements in the county.

In Levy Year 2008, the County issued refunds and credits to some homeowner associations, apartment building owners, condominium owners, and commercial property owners charged the WQPC. Refunds were issued for any dollar amount over $100 and credits were issued for amounts under $100. For property owners eligible for WQPC credit, the credit was applied toward the Levy Year 2009 tax bill.

You can use this webpage to view your WQPC for Levy Year 2009, including your credit and total Levy Year 2009 charge. For more information on how DEP determined if your account was modified for Levy Year 2009, click on the Explanation tab.
