intersects with New Hampshire Avenue. Turn right onto New Hampshire Avenue, go about 2 miles south
until you see high-rise apartments on the skyline. Get into the left hand
lane. The library is on the left.
West (Kensington area)
Take University Blvd. East to Four Corners. Turn left on Colesville Road (Route
29). Go 2 miles to the intersection with New Hampshire Avenue, which is a
cloverleaf. Take the second exit (New Hampshire Avenue North). The library
is the first building on the right, once you are on New Hampshire Avenue
headed north.
West (Virginia)
Get off 495 at exit 30A (Colesville Road north to Columbia). Go 2 miles north to
the cloverleaf intersection with New Hampshire Avenue. Take the second exit
(New Hampshire Avenue North). The library is the first building on the right,

East (Prince George's County)
Get off the Beltway at New Hampshire Avenue (exit 28). Go north about 2 miles.

Route 29 just past the Sears store.

Take Colesville Road (Route 29) north to New Hampshire Avenue. Take the second
exit marked New Hampshire Avenue North. The library is the first building
on the right, once you are on New Hampshire Avenue headed north.

Go south on Route 29 until you reach the intersection with New Hampshire Avenue.

About the Library: The White Oak Library was built in 1967 and renovated in 1989. The building is 16,205 square feet, and it has two levels. The main floor has three service points: Information Desk, Customer Service/Returns Desk, and Children’s Services Desk. The lower level has small and large meeting rooms, which can be reserved for use by community groups.
