Join MCPL's Teensite Advisory Group (TAG)
Applications being accepted from August 25 through September 5. Participants
earn up to 40 Student Service Learning Hours.

DESCRIPTION:
The Montgomery County Public Library System is looking for
teens interested in joining our programming and publicity team. Write
reviews of books, music, or films; suggest some weblinks (think music
or favorite YouTubes); help identify local teen artists or writers to
feature; promote the library in the community; plan library programs
and help design new teen spaces; and even initiate podcast and video
productions.
Work from home, work with small groups, and attend monthly meetings.
Selected applicants will serve a term from September 2008 through May
2009. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Montgomery County teens, ages 14-18
- Love of reading and writing, and interest in sharing your thoughts
- Interest in surfing the web, and looking at it with a critical eye
- Interest in producing a podcast or video
- Interest in promoting the library among your peers
- Interest in developing library programs
