Status: All planning stages have been approved by the Planning Board and construction has commenced and the frame has been topped off. The entrance of the private Central Garage off Waverly Street is currently closed and will re-open at the beginning of January 2010.
Summary: A hotel project located at the intersection of Waverly and Elm Streets, which lies within the Bethesda CBD. Proposed use of land is to replace a portion of the existing parking structure and retail space with 4,600 s.f. of retail space and 132,421 s.f. (216 rooms) of Hotel. The existing 364,100 s.f. of office space will remain. The project impacts Bi-County Transit way and Capital Crescent Trail.
