Status: Possible 18 month to 2 year delay because of a Verizon trunk line. The trunk line will need to be re-routed before construction can begin.

Summary: Lot 31, now a metered parking lot and 31A across the street, will have 250 units in all (up to 146 in the west building and 97 in the east), 1100 county parking spaces and about 300 residential spaces. The project will be developed jointly between the County, which owns it, PN Hoffman and Stonebridge. There will be 35 work force housing units and 12.5% will be MPDUs. Approval conditions will limit the building to 90' on the east side (much shorter than the 143-foot Seasons apartment building next door) and 54 feet to the west, both will offer retail, extending Bethesda Row one block south; the Capital Crescent Trail will get a "drop-off" for cyclists to unload from their vehicles.
