Meeting Room Rentals     

Community meeting rooms can be reserved by civic associations, community groups and non-profit organizations for weekday, evening and weekend use on a space available basis. An audioloop system is available for those with hearing impairment. Contact the Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) to reserve rooms at: CUPF or phone 240-777-2706, Fax 240-777-2707. Conference Room A - has 70 chairs arranged theater style. This room has two whiteboards, two 6-foot and two 4-foot tables. (Maximum Capacity - 70) Cost $15 per hour.
As of July 1, 2009:  non-profit fee $20 per hour; for-profit fee $40 per hour

Conference Room B - has 20 chairs arranged around nine small tables and against the wall. This room has two whiteboards, a wall mounted television/VCR, a ceiling mounted large screen, and an audio loop for the hearing impaired. (Maximum Capacity - 20) Cost $15 per hour.As of July 1, 2009: non-profit fee $15.00 per hour; for-profit fee $30.00.

Conference Rooms A and B - can be combined into one large meeting room. Only Center staff are authorized to open and close the wall divider. The wall divider will be opened only during the hours 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and will not be opened on Friday evenings and weekends. In case of Monday-Thursday evening meetings, the user will have to book both rooms for the entire evening (4:30 - 10:00 p.m.) to avoid conflicting with another user. Whenever rooms A and B are booked together, the user should clarify whether the partition should be opened or remain closed. (Maximum Capacity - 90).  As of July 1, 2009 non-profit fee $35 per hour; for-profit fee $70.00 per hour.

Conference Room C - has 16 chairs around a large glass -topped conference table. This room has two whiteboards, two wall-mounted whiteboards, and a pull down screen. (Maximum Capacity - 16).  As of July 1, 2009:  non-profit fee $15.00 per hour; for-profit fee $30.00 per hour.

Conference Room D - is available for booking after 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and on the weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (It is used by the Bethesda Vital Living Center from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F). Chairs are available for use, but must be put away at the end of the meeting. (Maximum Capacity - 98).  As of July 1, 2009 non-profit fee: $40.00 per hour; for-profit fee $80.00 per hour.
