Provide job training and support services to supplement what is already offered at these installations
Supply job placement to those interested in leaving the military and/or will also assist military installations to became more visually accessible

BRAC Higher Education Investment Fund -- application deadline: November 6, 2008. As part of the O’Malley/Brown Administration’s efforts to fully prepare Maryland for the impact of BRAC, the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation contracted with the Maryland Higher Education Commission to perform a study of higher education institutions in Maryland, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Delaware to determine their preparedness and capacity to meet the demands of BRAC postsecondary education needs facing Maryland.The information obtained through the study will be the basis for planning to meet the higher education needs throughout the State due to BRAC.
