Internet Video Viewer System Requirements
In order to view and listen to video streamed on-line, it is recommended that you have: a PC with at least a 233-MHz processor Pentium II and 64 MB RAM, a minimum 56Kbps Internet connection, and a Windows Media Player (version 9 or higher) or a Microsoft Silverlight player Video is streamed at various speeds ranging from 56 Kbps to 350 Kbps. The connection speeds are automatically detected to ensure the highest quality stream possible. Additional video player information necessary for watching live or on-demand video streams are provided below. Microsoft Windows Media Player - WMP (free download)
	Microsoft Windows Media Player (PC) version 9 or higher Windows 98 second edition or higher Windows Media Player may work best for those who require greater accessibility
Microsoft Silverlight (free download)
	Microsoft Silverlight System Requirements and FAQ’s Silverlight is supported by all major web browsers, including Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8, Firefox 2.x and 3.x, Safari 3.x and 4.x, and Google Chrome, on both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems Recommended for MAC users

Consequently, the Council and CCM viewers will display videos in your browser using Windows Media Player technology. In the near future, it is anticipated that Silverlight will be made available and/or installed remotely on desktops throughout the County.
