Tonja Paylor is a highly experienced marketing and public relations professional with a passion for service and community engagement. Over her 30-year career, she has worked with nationally recognized brands such as Cricket Wireless, Medifast, and MedStar Health, where she has developed and implemented various community relations and volunteer initiatives.

Under Tonja's leadership, each corporation has supported numerous charities and nonprofits, making a significant impact in the communities they serve. She has facilitated projects including home repairs, playground renovations, meal preparation, and food and toiletry drives for local shelters. As part of her community outreach initiatives, Tonja has organized community health lectures to bring awareness to health disparities affecting women. These lectures serve as a platform to educate and inform the community about the unequal distribution of health resources and opportunities, as well as the impact of social, economic, and cultural factors on health outcomes.

Tonja's dedication to community service has earned her several notable accolades. She has received the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. North Atlantic Region Environmental Ownership Award for her commitment to environmental initiatives. She has also been honored with an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Theta Omega Omega Chapter Community Award for Women's Healthcare Impact, recognizing her efforts in promoting women's health. Additionally, Tonja has been recognized by the Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., Patuxent River Chapter, with an Orchid Award for her contributions toward enhancing the status of women in the community.

Tonja's educational background includes a bachelor's degree from Hampton University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix at Houston. She is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery’s CORE ‘19 class, a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is a charter member of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., Patuxent River Chapter.
