Every community in Montgomery County is unique, although many share similar characteristics. Bethesda, Silver Spring, Kensington and Wheaton hustle with busy downtown activity, while Olney, Poolesville, Darnestown and others offer small town charm in quiet rural settings. Rockville, the county seat, has a charming residential historic district that blends nicely into the growing business and retail district.
