The Contractor is required to provide congregate nutrition services targeted to specific ethnic populations of eligible adults age 60 or older. The Contractor must provide sites that comply with state and local regulations, obtain ethnic meals from a licensed food service facility, provide staff for each site, and activities that include nutrition education, physical fitness and other activities of interest to participants according to a schedule approved by the County. The contractor must register eligible persons and they must be given an opportunity to make voluntary donations for the meals; donations are kept by the Contractor and included on the Components of Meal Cost form that is used to determine per meal reimbursement up to the maximum allowed in the Open Solicitation. The Contractor must include reports of donations and reports that document service with monthly invoices to the County.
