Profiles of Hard-to-Count Census Tracts in Montgomery County

These 42 Census Tract Profiles are tools to help members of the Complete Count Committee focus their Census outreach. They present the areas within Montgomery County that the Census Bureau considers the most difficult to count. Included in each profile is: a brief overview of the tract; a map of the tract and surrounding areas; select demographics from the Census 2000; and a listing of key apartment buildings, faith congregations, nonprofits, employers, and public agencies.

While these profiles provide valuable information about each tract, they are intended to serve only as a starting point. We need community leaders to examine the profiles and fill in the gaps. What are the most important buildings and organizations to focus on in each tract? Who are the key contacts who will help make our campaign a success? With your help, these profiles can guide our Census outreach and ensure that "Everyone Counts in Montgomery County!"
