The Robbery Section investigates bank, residential and commercial proceed robberies, carjackings, and all kidnapping for ransom cases.

The Fugitive Section serves warrants within Montgomery County. The section also handles warrants from other jurisdictions, Governor’s Warrants, out-of-state transports and extradition hearings. If you have information on the location of a wanted subject, please call the Fugitive Section at 240-773-5370. You may be asked to leave a message. You do not have to give your name and may remain anonymous.

The Warrant Section maintains, files, houses all District Court criminal and traffic warrants – approximately 12,000/year. The section enters wanted people into NCIC/warrant systems, researches criminal histories, handles recalled warrants, sends letters to wanted people advising them of warrant, and administers the Maryland MVA Outstanding Warrant Program.
