ASSOCIATION
COUNCIL OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Established
by the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development, the Association
Council of Montgomery County (ACMC) serves as an advisory board to the
Director of DED as well as other county government officials.
ACMC
members represent the association community headquartered in Montgomery
County, which consists of over 350 professional trade organizations.
Council members are comprised of association CEOs and supplier companies
serving the non-profit sector.
The
Council convenes on a regular basis to discuss issues, which directly
affect the vast non-profit community based in Montgomery County. ACMC
holds open meetings and provides several networking opportunities throughout
the year bringing the association community together. The Council also
serves as "ambassadors" representing Montgomery County to
prospective organizations seeking expansion or relocation to the metropolitan
area.
