Compost Bins

Visit the Department of Environmental Protection's collection of composting resources for information on how to compost.

• Sites are open weekdays only (except the Audubon Sanctuary Shop); contact us to see whether we will have compost bins available at an upcoming weekend event.
• Sorry, we do not deliver compost bins.
• Bins are available to County residents and businesses at no charge.

The compost bins come in tight rolls, secured with a cardboard wrapper, for transport. The rolls are about 3 feet long and 6 inches in diameter. They are easy to carry.
