• There is a Flagging Operation on Kentsdale Rd. from Bradley Blvd. to Newbridge Dr.

• Northbound on Woodfield Rd (MD.124) at Rickenbacker Rd blocking the left  lane

• Construction will start on Kentsdale Rd. between Bradley Blvd. and Democracy Blvd on October 3, 2008
  
  
• Due to construction, Skylark Road is closed between Persimmon Ridge Road and Piedmont Road.

• Due to bridge reconstruction on Burning Tree Road, only one lane will be open crossing the bridge.  Use alternate routes in this area.

• The ramp from the Clara Barton Pkwy. westbound to the Outer Loop of I-495 southbound is closed through November 2008 to rebuild the bridge on the ramp. Please follow detour signs.

• WSSC Contractor Sagra Construction is scheduled to close Sligo Creek Pkwy; from Jackson Ave. to Heather Ave. (between Carroll Ave. (MD.195) and New Hampshire Ave. (MD.650) beginning September 2nd through January 31st. They are doing water main replacement/repair.

• The Talbot Avenue Bridge over the CSX railroad tracks in the Silver Spring/Brookville area is closed for vehicular traffic due to emergency repairs. Pedestrians and Bicyclists will be able to use the bridge except when construction work requires full closure.
  

• The Glenmont Metro Parking garage is being refurbished until the summer of 2009.  Due to the construction there will be some parking restriction.  Motorist can use the Park-N-Ride located at Georgia Ave and Norbeck Rd and also the Metro Parking garage at the Wheaton Metro.  (Click here for more information on the Glenmont Parking Garage)

• There is roadwork on Nicholson La. between Nebel St. and Boiling Brook Pkwy that will close one lane each way until November 2008 to rebuild the bridge over the CSX tracks. Please plan to use alternate routes in this area to avoid delays.
