Dear Clarksburg Residents and Business Owners:

Welcome to the Clarksburg Information Site where you’ll find current information about development and road projects in and around Clarksburg as well as other helpful information of interest to the community.

While it is exciting to imagine a new and bustling town, full of families and people of all ages and interests, the reality of living in a town that is under construction provides both opportunities and challenges. Construction of housing, shops, other commercial buildings, streets, alleys, and sidewalks provides conveniences to area residents, but until the project is completed, it also brings inconveniences.

To help with your concerns and to better keep you abreast of issues and progress I have created a Clarksburg Ombudsman Office located at 23201 Stringtown Road in Clarksburg. I have appointed Kathy Mitchell to head the Office which will expand resources currently provided by the UpCounty Regional Services Center.

Much progress has been made toward addressing development concerns and issues in Clarksburg. Clarksburg is now a vibrant and thriving community. My staff and I will work with the community to help Clarksburg mature into the vision planned for it and the community its residents desire it to be. I encourage you to check this web site often for updates and to contact the Clarksburg Ombudsman’s Office for additional information or with any concerns you may have.

Warm Regards,

Isiah Leggett
