  • Review of Biennial Requirements:
    As a reminder the following must be completed every two years in order to renew EMT-P or CRT licenses:
    EMT-P CRT
    • EMT-P Recertification
      Courses (40 hours)
    • ACLS (8 or 16 hours)
    • 24 hours Category II
    • 16 hours Category A
    • 16 hours Category B
    • 8 hours Category II

  • Registration for BLS Classes:
    You must pre-register for all continuing education by completing a PSTA registration form and forwarding it to the PSTA registrar. Volunteers must submit registration through their training officers. Closing dates for registration will generally be a month before class start. Academy policies on registration, class sizes, and absenteeism will be enforced.
