The Digital Aerial Photo Image Server enables visitors to locate, display, download, and print archived high-resolution digital aerial photo or ortho-photo images. Multi-resolution Seamless Image Database (MrSID) software, developed by Lizardtech, Inc., and GIS software products (ESRI & Blue Marble), were used to prepare and serve available archived digital photos from 1951, 1970, 1979, 1993-1996, 1998, 2000, and 2002. A web-based aerial photo map index application enables visitors to find and select a photo on the image server by County base map grid. A No Plugin image viewer then displays selected digital images and allows visitors to adjust zoom scale and image size. Visitors can also print or download the photo image using the No Plugin viewer. Visitors also have the option of using the Java Viewer to better display, pan, and zoom about the photo image.
