CRISIS CENTER
Victims of Violence

The Crisis Center works with the Montgomery County Abused Persons Program (APP) to offer immediate crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence. If you or someone you know is being physically abused or threatened by a spouse or significant other, you can contact the Crisis Center 24 hours a day by calling (240) 777-4673. The services are also available on a walk-in basis at 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville. The individual will meet with a therapist and discuss the problem. Together they plan appropriate follow-up services which may include counseling, safe shelter, and legal steps that can be taken. For more information on domestic violence contact the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence. (Please visit our disclaimer.)

The Crisis Center also collaborates with the Montgomery County Victim Assistance and Sexual Assault Program (VASAP) to offer crisis intervention to victims of sexual assault and other crimes. Walk-in and telephone crisis services are available 24 hours a day for victims of sexual assault or other crimes. Those interested can call (240) 777-4357 or come to 1301 Piccard Drive in Rockville.
