New
Food Service Establishments and Change of Ownership
In an effort to keep the consumer aware of the changing
nature of dining in the community and to partner with local business
the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is publicizing recently
issued licenses for eating and drinking establishments. Both the community
and local government benefit from the success of new business ventures.
Although participation in this public announcement is strictly voluntary,
DHHS invites every new food service facility and any business that is
changing ownership to supply information about their operation. DHHS
has prepared a one page survey form for this purpose. Details may include
hours of operation, cooking style, service style, children's menu, and
entrée cost.
The Licensure and Regulatory Services section of
DHHS inspects food service facilities unannounced according to state
and county regulations. DHHS neither endorses the food, service, or
ambiance of any facility, nor rates the operation of any facility. All
information is subject to change. Please contact the facility directly
with any questions about it's operation.
