Each week we will feature a different branch or unit of Montgomery County Public Libraries on the website. This week's feature is on the Noyes Library for Young Children .
Visit our charming, historic one-room library serving young children, their parents and caregivers. Situated on its own triangular island, Noyes is surrounded by the tall trees and turreted Victorian homes of Kensington near Antiques Row. Once inside, visitors enjoy the intimacy of this special library. Many of our regular customers arrive eager to play with the train set, the castle and the dolls. The books, music and other materials are chosen especially for children birth to eight years old.
We present monthly programs for babies and preschoolers and hold special events through the year. Adults can borrow special ‘Grandparent Kits’ to have on hand for visiting youngsters. The Kits are stocked with books, toys, and media centered on a theme. Make Noyes Library for Young Children a regular library destination for your family.
