CCOC will host its Annual Forum on Thursday, October 4, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. in the ground-floor cafeteria of the ExecutiveOfficeBuilding at 101 Monroe Street in Rockville. Homeowners and residents of MontgomeryCounty's common ownership communities are invited to attend, as well as professionals who work with those communities. Each community may send two representatives:homeowners, residents and particularly members of its board of directors.
This year's theme is: "Steering a Stable Course Through Difficult Financial Times," and the program will feature speakers and roundtable discussions on setting a stable course for uncertain financial times. With the daily failure of sub-prime lender and the record numbers of foreclosures and bankruptcies, common ownership communities must develop strategies and tactics to assure their financial well being.
There is no charge to attendees.Light fare will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Those interested in attending should register by e-mailing Katherine Schaefgen. Anyone wishing to register via regular mail should contact Peter Drymalski at (240) 777-3716 for an invitation and stamped response form.Registration must arrive at the CCOC no later than Friday, September 21.
