The Office of Common Ownership Communities

If you would like to file a complaint regarding a condominium, cooperative or homeowner association in Montgomery County (except within the city limits of incorporated municipalities), you can either:

1)request a complaint form from the Office of Common Ownership Communities by calling 240-777-3636 and you will be sent a complaint form to complete as well as a copy of the Dispute Resolution Procedures from the Commission on Common Ownership Communities.or

2) print out the complaint form and follow the directions included in a cover letter.

Please note, pursuant to Executive Regulation 22-96, effective November 18, 1996, there is a dispute filing fee of $50.00 for each dispute filed with the Office of Common Ownership Communities.
