Community Service Day - October 25, 2008
Save the date! Montgomery County's 22nd Annual Community Service Day is Saturday, October 25, 2008 with Sunday projects as well
Last year’s participation was outstanding with 1,047 volunteers of all ages participating in 53 projects of all sizes throughout the County. This year, we want to build on that success to make Community Service Day bigger and better.
What is Community Service Day?
It’s the 4th Saturday in October set aside for community members to come together to volunteer. Community Service Day began right here in Montgomery County more than two decades ago and has become a national day of service known as “Make a Difference Day.”
