  • Subwatershed name and description
  • Subwatershed condition and most recent monitoring year
  • List of aquatic life including Benthic Macroinvertebrates and Fish species found in the subwatershed and their level of tolerance to pollution
More detailed information appears below the map in a table.

All county watersheds are monitored according to a defined schedule at least once every five years. The types and health of benthic macroinvertebrates and fish species sampled provide an indication of the condition of the watershed. On the map below, the subwatersheds are color-coded according to their condition.

Montgomery County is made up of almost one hundred and fifty subwatersheds. The map below shows streams, tributaries, lakes, and other water features within Montgomery County, as well as the major watersheds (outlined in heavy grey) and subwatersheds (outlined in lighter grey).
