Public Involvement

Become directly involved in stream and watershed protection through several of our public involvement initiatives for students, residents, and businesses, such as:

epartners200.gif (5899 bytes) Environmental Partners
Environmental Partners is a dynamic new cooperative pollution prevention program between the Department of Environmental Protection and business leaders in a variety of county-based industries. Our goal is to help business leaders save money, time, labor and resources, while helping to protect and enhance the quality of our environment.

intern4.gif (16775 bytes) Internships
The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection offers an opportunity for undergraduate students to apply their classroom knowledge in a real life setting as summer interns.  Programs are both paid Public Service Internships and unpaid volunteer positions.

Please contact the Department of Environmental Protection at 240.777.7770 to learn how you can be involved in helping our environment.
