	The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) and the Department of Technology Services Geographic Information Systems (DTS-GIS) team developed an on-line Apartment Rental Guide Service to enable users to find or locate an apartment within Montgomery County, Maryland. The Apartment Rental Guide enables users to find or locate an apartment from over 400 rental apartment facilities within Montgomery County, Maryland including special apartment buildings for the elderly and the disabled in addition to subsidized apartments for singles and families. Currently, the apartment listings are updated annually after DHCA conducts their Spring survey of apartments. Consequently, the information presented in the Apartment Rental Guide application reflects information as reported to DHCA by apartment landlords.
