Single-Family Program
The Single-Family Program includes two sections, Home Improvement and Moderately Priced Housing.  The Home Improvement section is responsible for making loans and grants for the rehabilitation and weatherization of single-family homes and group home facilities and for the replacement of deteriorated single-family homes.  The Moderately Priced Housing section is responsible for administering the sale, rental, and occupancy of MPDUs (Moderately Priced Dwelling Units).  MPDUs are constructed in compliance with Chapter 25A of the Montgomery County Code which requires that most new subdivisions contain a percentage of affordable housing units.
