Director's Office: Community Outreach - Community Action Groups

The Community Outreach Program provides a means for the Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to work with the citizens of the County in delivering quality services. The program seeks avenues where citizen concerns, both short and long term, can be discussed with appropriate County representatives or other agencies operating in the County. Community Outreach hosts meetings with Action Groups throughout the County at the request of Regional Service Center directors, oversees the Adopt A Road volunteer litter control program and the storm drain marking program, and operates a beautification program which includes beautification grants.

Action group meetings are open to all. Citizens should contact their Regional Service Center director to raise a particular concern. See typical meeting locations below.
