Attached please find a
matrix describing proposed precinct boundary modifications, polling place assignments, and precinct mergers expected to take effect beginning with the upcoming 2012 election cycle. The precinct boundary modifications, proposed by the Montgomery County Board of Elections, result from 2010 US Census jurisdictional boundary redistricting actions taken by the Governor, General Assembly, Montgomery County Board of Education, and the Montgomery County Council affecting the Congressional, School Board, and Council District lines.
Public comments will be received by the Montgomery County Board of Elections through 5 p.m. on December 5, 2011. Persons interested in providing a response related to the proposed modifications should submit their comments to
elections@montgomerycountymd.gov.
Maps are available for viewing at the Board of Elections during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
