MCER NO. 16-05:  PROPOSED FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE  REGULATION -  Integrated Emergency Command Structure (ICES)

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation adopts an integrated emergency command structure that provides a chain of command for use in the control of all incidents, and applies to MCFRS personnel.  The text adopts the recently reorganized MCFRS operational structure to a Standardized  Incident Management System making it consistent with the regional, state, and national emergency management plan.  This regulation conforms to the legislative intent of Section 21-1(a)(3) of the County Code.  On its adoption, this document supersedes Temporary Executive Regulation  3-05T of the same title.

MCER NO. 18-05:  PROPOSED FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE REGULATION -  Certification Standards for Training, Experience, and Credentialing Requirements

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation supersedes the Fire and Rescue Commission's Executive Regulation 2-98AMII, Certification Standards for Training and Experience Requirements, makes them effective immediately for new fire and rescue personnel, and establishes an implementation timetable for application of certain training and experience requirements for existing emergency service providers, both career and volunteer, and include eligibility requirements for the various officer ranks.  The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 2-98AMII.

MCER NO. 19-05:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORTATION  REGULATION - Taxicab Rates

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation establishes a revised rate schedule for taxicab fares.  The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 25-03.
