MCER NO. 20-08:  PROPOSED MONTGOMERY COUNTY FIRE AND RESCUE REGULATION - Emergency Medical Service Transport Fee

 

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation establishes (1) an Emergency Medical Services Transport Fee (EMS Transport Fee) schedule; and (2) a requirement that an individual who receives an Emergency Medical Services transport provide certain information and execute an assignment of certain health insurance benefits.  The fee schedule, including the mileage rate, may be amended based on any additional financial analysis received before approval of the final regulation.  An amendment will be considered to establish a process or formula to distribute a portion of the revenue received from the EMS fee to the Local Fire and Rescue Departments.  Comment is invited on an appropriate process or formula for distributing revenue from the EMS fee to the Local Fire and Rescue Departments.

MCER NO. 21-08:  PROPOSED ETHICS COMMISSION REGULATION - Lobbyist Registration Fee

 

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation implements section 19A-23(e) which permits he Ethics Commission to charge an annual registration fee for lobbyists.

MCER NO. 22-08:  PROPOSED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION - Position Description for Special Projects Manager, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer

 

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 8-07, which provided a position description for the non-merit position of Deputy Director for Special Projects, Department of Public Works and Transportation.  This regulation changes the title, shifts the location of the position to the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, and provides a revised position description for this non-merit position.

MCER NO. 23-08:  PROPOSED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION - Position Description for Deputy Director, Department of Transportation

 

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 50-95, which provided a position description for the non-merit position of Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works and Transportation.  This regulation changes the name of the department and provides a revised position description for this non-merit position.
