MCER NO. 13-15:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REGULATION
   Massage

SUMMARY: The proposed regulation is part of a package of legislation recommended by the Human Trafficking Task Force in order to address the problem of human trafficking operations masquerading as legitimate massage establishments in Montgomery County.  These amendments, coupled with companion legislation and regulations to address other bodyworks establishments, will improve the County’s ability to detect and eliminate criminal activity with minimal burden on legitimate business activity.  The Department of Permitting Services and the Montgomery County Police Department participated in the development of this regulation. The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 17-01AM.

MCER NO. 16-15:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS REGULATION
Best Management Practices Monitoring Fees

SUMMARY: The proposed regulation establishes a fee that a private entity or County public agency must pay to the Department of Permitting Services to cover the cost of monitoring storm water best management practices for any development project in a Special Protection Area.
