Cromolyn Sodium Inhaler

Quiet Drug:

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory

Cromolyn sodium inhalation aerosol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug intended to prevent asthma attacks.

Cromolyn sodium is NOT to be administered by EMTBs per Maryland Medical Protocols

Drug Action:	Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory. Prevents histamine release & other substances that cause hypersensitivity reactions.
WARNING:	*Cromolyn sodium should NOT be taken during an asthma attack - It may make the attack WORSE!*
Dose:	Usually 2 inhalations (puffs) b.i.d. (2x daily)
